Hilltop
House
Harpers Ferry, West Virginia
#NC-07110-HT - Notecards

Built
in 1888, Hilltop House is a mountaintop inn in Harpers Ferry.
It features a view of one of the most spectacular vistas in North
America: a panorama millions of years old, molded by nature at
the confluence of the Potomac and Shenandoah rivers and framed
by the Blue Ridge Mountains.
The
village below was settled before most of the signers of the Declaration
of Independence were born. Few American locations are as historic
as Harpers Ferry.
